VATOR SPLASH comes to Oakland May 6 and 7  There’s lots of excitement building around Vator Splash Oakland, a two-day event to showcase Oakland’s–and the Bay’s– brightest entrepreneurial talent and offering workshops and networking opportunities. OpenOakland’s weekly civic hacking meet-up OpenOakland works to improve the lives of Oaklanders by advancing civic innovation and open government. “We create digital tools to increase access to public information, to help Oaklanders engage more effectively with local government and with each other.
